About Us
A Jamaican kitchen and bar on the sand at Frenchman's Bay.
Frenchman's Bay is a working fishing beach on the south coast of St. Elizabeth. Our restaurant sits right on the sand, ten steps from the water. The boats out the window are the same boats our kitchen buys fish from in the morning.
We started as a small bar for the neighbours and grew into the restaurant the bay needed — somewhere that takes Jamaican food seriously, makes a proper rum drink, and lets the beach do the rest.
What we stand for: scratch cooking, fish caught that morning, rum from the valley up the road, a team that lives in the community, and a room that sounds like Jamaica after 7 pm.
